About us

Who We Are: About GD Review Removal Service

GD Review Removal Service has worked on employer review cases since 2020. We focus on Glassdoor because its rules, its moderation and its effect on hiring are different from those of consumer review sites. A strong case looks different there too.

Our team reads every review against Glassdoor's guidelines before quoting. We tell you which reviews have a real chance and which ones will stay up, and then we handle the filing and follow-up through to the final report.

Our Glassdoor Review Removal Services

This is policy work. Glassdoor states that employers cannot pay to have reviews removed. Reviews come down when they break its Community Guidelines or are clearly false. That's what Glassdoor negative review removal comes down to when it's done properly.

Remove Fake Glassdoor Reviews From Non-Employees

Rejected candidates, former contractors, customers with a grudge and competitors sometimes post as if they were staff. Reviews are meant to reflect first-hand employee experience, so a post that clearly comes from outside the company is one of the most common grounds we use to remove fake Glassdoor reviews.

Reviews That Break Glassdoor's Community Guidelines

A real employee can still cross a line by naming junior staff, sharing private details, using slurs or leaking confidential business information. These reviews can come down even when the complaint behind them is fair, because the problem is how it was said.

Coordinated Review Attacks

A burst of one-star reviews after a layoff or a public dispute often follows a pattern: similar wording, similar timing, similar job titles. We map those patterns and file them together so moderators see a campaign rather than a string of unrelated flags.

Duplicate Reviews From the Same Person

Glassdoor limits contributors to one review per company per year. A former employee who posts again under a new job title is breaking that rule.

Reviews Posted Under the Wrong Company

Similar company names, old brands after an acquisition and franchise locations all attract misplaced reviews. The evidence here is usually a matter of record, which makes these some of the cleanest cases we handle.

Who we help

Who Needs a Glassdoor Review Removal Service

Most employers reach out to a Glassdoor review removal service at one of four moments, and each one changes how the case is built.

01

Founders and Executives Named in Reviews

A review that attacks a founder by name tends to rank for that person's name as well. Honest commentary on leadership is allowed, so the case has to rest on false statements of fact, personal details or harassment.

02

HR and Talent Teams Losing Candidates

Recruiters usually spot the damage first, when offer acceptance slips or candidates bring up a review in a final interview. According to Glassdoor's employer research, 83% of job seekers are likely to research company reviews and ratings.

03

Companies After Layoffs or Restructuring

Review volume spikes after layoffs. Most of those reviews are honest and will stay. A few come from people outside the affected teams or from repeat posters, and those are worth challenging.

04

Employers Whose Own Flags Were Rejected

Many clients come to us after flagging a review and losing. That doesn't close the matter, but the next filing has to be stronger, with the right guideline category and real evidence.

The real cost

Why Glassdoor Reviews Cost You More Than Reputation

+20%

Applications, Offer Acceptance and Cost per Hire

Glassdoor reports that employers who raised their rating by half a point or more saw 20% more job clicks and 16% more application starts. A rating pulled down by fake reviews works the other way. Fewer people apply, roles stay open longer and each hire costs more.

Glassdoor in Google Search Results

Search a company name followed by "reviews" or "jobs" and Glassdoor is usually on page one, often with the star rating in the result. Candidates see your score before they reach your careers page.

How Reviews Reach Indeed and AI Answers

AI assistants draw on public review sites when someone asks what a company is like to work for. Indeed also runs its own company reviews under separate guidelines, and an unhappy former employee often posts on both.

Eligibility

What Glassdoor Will Remove and What It Won't

Knowing where the line sits saves you money, so we only take cases where a guideline breach can be shown.

Reviews Glassdoor Removes

Not a First-Hand Employee Experience

Fabricated reviews fall under Glassdoor's fraud rules. The platform screens submissions with technology, including IP analysis, alongside human moderators. Fakes still get through, and a documented case is how they come down.

Confidential or Proprietary Information

Unreleased financials, client names and trade secrets don't belong in a public review. This ground is underused, and it often works even when the rest of the review is fair comment.

Naming or Targeting Individuals

Commentary on senior leadership is generally allowed. Attacks on named junior staff, or posts that expose someone's personal details, are not.

Threats, Profanity or Discriminatory Language

Abusive language can get a review removed even when the complaint behind it is legitimate.

More Than One Review a Year

A second review from the same person inside 12 months breaks the one-review-per-year limit.

False Statements of Fact

Glassdoor removes a review when it's clear the review is false based on reliable, independent information. Opinions don't qualify.

"Payroll was always late" is opinion unless your records disprove it. "The company was fined for fraud last year" is a factual claim you can disprove.

Reviews Glassdoor Keeps

Honest Negative Opinions

A real employee who disliked their manager, pay or workload is entitled to say so. We'll tell you when a review falls into this group rather than take your money for a case that can't be won.

Reviews Protected by NLRA and Whistleblower Rules

In the US, the National Labor Relations Board treats some employee discussion of working conditions online as protected concerted activity. We don't target reviews that raise protected concerns, because trying to suppress them creates legal risk for the employer.

Methods

How We Remove Glassdoor Reviews: Our Removal Methods

Guideline Reports Through the Employer Center

Most cases run through Glassdoor's own reporting tools, filed under the right guideline with the evidence attached. Each review gets its own argument, kept short and factual.

Arguing the Content, Not the Reviewer

Glassdoor says it has protected reviewer anonymity in over 100 cases and generally declines requests to identify authors. Saying "we know who wrote this" rarely works. What works is showing that the text describes a department, policy or location that doesn't exist, or repeats another review word for word.

Confidentiality and NDA Breach Cases

When a former employee signed a non-disclosure agreement and the review reveals what it covers, there are two routes: a guideline case on confidential information and a contract claim through your lawyer. These are among the strongest cases we see.

Legal Escalation for Defamation

Reviews with false, damaging statements of fact may justify legal action. We prepare the evidence and coordinate with your counsel. The legal options are covered in more detail further down.

Parallel Cases on Indeed

If the same review appears on Indeed, it needs its own case under Indeed's rules. We check both platforms during the assessment.

Process

How to Get Glassdoor Reviews Removed: Our Process

01

Step 1: Free Review Assessment

Send us the review links and your profile URL. We read each review against the guidelines and give you a straight answer on each one: strong case, possible case or not removable.

02

Step 2: Guideline Mapping and Evidence

Employment Record Checks

With your HR team, we check whether the job title, location, dates and department in each review match anyone who actually worked for you. Glassdoor won't accept the company's own records as proof, so we use any mismatch to find details in the review that moderators can verify for themselves.

Content Review for Coordinated Attacks

Timing, Wording and Account Patterns We Check

We compare posting dates against layoffs or disputes, phrases repeated across reviews and job titles that don't exist in your structure. One suspicious review is a flag. Six with the same fingerprints make a case.

03

Step 3: Submission and Follow-Up

We file each review and follow up on anything pending. If Glassdoor declines, we look again at the grounds and the evidence, and tell you honestly whether a second filing is worth it.

04

Step 4: Removal Confirmed and Reported

Once a review is gone, we confirm it on your live profile and send a short report showing what was filed, on what grounds and what Glassdoor decided.

Timeline

How Long Glassdoor Review Removal Takes

Most Qualified Cases: 5 to 7 Business Days

5–7business days

Most cases we accept after assessment are resolved within 5 to 7 business days. Glassdoor's moderation queue sets the final pace, so we quote this as a typical result rather than a deadline.

Cases That Take Longer

Coordinated attacks with many reviews, cases that need an appeal and anything involving legal letters take longer. We'll tell you at assessment if your case falls in this group.

What Slows a Case Down

The usual delays are an unverified employer account, missing HR records and a review already rejected once on weak grounds. Getting your records together early is the biggest thing you can do to speed things up.

What the Fee Covers

The fee covers the assessment, evidence gathering, filing, follow-ups and confirmation of removal, with no separate charge for each step.

What Changes the Price

The standard rate is $800 per review. Cases that need more evidence work, cover many reviews or need legal escalation are quoted individually, and the quote is always in writing before any work starts.

Volume Pricing for Agencies and Bulk Cases

Reputation agencies and employers with many reviews to challenge can arrange volume terms and retainers with our team.

When You Pay

We take 50% of the fee upfront when you sign the written agreement, and the remaining 50% once removal is confirmed on your live profile.

How the Cost Compares to One Lost Hire

$800One review removal
$1,200Median cost per hire, non-executive
$10,625Median cost per hire, executive

The SHRM 2025 Recruiting Benchmarking Report puts the median cost per hire at $1,200 for non-executive roles and $10,625 for executive roles. If one fake review costs you a single strong candidate, the Glassdoor review removal cost is usually smaller than replacing them.

Results

Our Success Rate and What Can Be Guaranteed

On cases we accept after assessment, our success rate is 95 to 100%. Glassdoor makes every final decision, so no agency can guarantee that a review will come down.

What "Qualified Submissions" Means

We only accept a review once we've found a clear guideline breach and the evidence to show it. Reviews that are honest opinions, or that we can't support with evidence, are turned down at assessment. That screening is why the rate on accepted cases is high, and why we don't quote it as a promise for any review you send us.

Why Glassdoor Makes the Final Call

Only Glassdoor's moderators can remove a review. Glassdoor says it applies the same rules to paying and non-paying employers, so no agency has a back door. Anyone promising certain removal of any review is overselling.

Doing it yourself

How to Remove Glassdoor Reviews Yourself, and Why It Often Fails

You can flag a review through Glassdoor's tools, and for a clear-cut case that's worth trying first. Rejected flags tend to fail for one of four reasons.

No Verified Employer Account

Anyone can flag a review. A verified employer account gives you Glassdoor's employer tools, including public responses, and lets you file as the business the review is about.

The Wrong Guideline Category

Picking "inappropriate" when the real issue is a non-employee author sends the flag to the wrong check, so it fails on grounds you never meant to argue.

No Evidence Attached

A flag that just says "this is false" is easy to dismiss. What changes outcomes is pointing to something moderators can check themselves, such as a role, site or policy in the review that does not exist.

A Weak First Filing

Once a review has been checked and kept, the next filing has to bring something new. Spending that first look on a weak argument makes the stronger one harder to land.

After removal

Search Visibility After a Glassdoor Review Is Removed

Google Results and Cached Snippets

Google can show an old snippet of a removed review for a while after it comes down. We check search results after removal, and request a refresh through Google's tools where an outdated snippet lingers.

Copies on Indeed and Other Sites

Removing a review from Glassdoor doesn't touch copies posted elsewhere. Indeed reviews need their own case, and screenshots shared on forums or social media follow those platforms' rules.

Monitoring for Repeat Posts

Someone who posted a fake review once may try again. We watch your profile after removal so a repeat post can be challenged quickly.

Trusted since 2020

Trusted Glassdoor Review Removal Company for Employers Since 2020

Since 2020, we've worked with employers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and UAE on Glassdoor cases of every size, from a single fake review to coordinated attacks after layoffs. Why us

Why Choose GD Review Removal Service

Honest Odds Before You Commit

You'll know which reviews are worth pursuing before you pay anything. We'd rather turn down a weak case than bill for a fight we can't win.

Written Agreement on Every Case

Every case starts with a signed agreement that sets out the fee, payment terms and scope, so nothing is left to a phone call.

Volume Terms for Agencies

Agencies and multi-location employers can arrange volume pricing and retainers instead of paying case by case.

Reporting You Can Share With Leadership

You get a plain report: which reviews we filed, on what grounds, what Glassdoor decided and how your rating moved.

Plan B

What Happens When a Review Can't Be Removed

71%

Writing an Employer Response Candidates Trust

Glassdoor's research found that 71% of users say their view of a company improves when it responds to reviews. A calm reply that addresses the actual complaint and explains what changed does more than silence.

Growing Your Review Base Within Glassdoor's Rules

Glassdoor bans offering money, bonuses or prizes for reviews, and asking employees for proof they posted. A neutral, company-wide invitation to share honest feedback is fine, and more real reviews dilute the weight of any single bad one.

Red flags

How to Spot a Glassdoor Review Removal Scam

Not every Glassdoor review removal service plays by the rules. These warning signs should make you walk away.

"Sponsor Glassdoor and the Reviews Disappear"

Paying Glassdoor for employer branding products doesn't remove reviews, and Glassdoor says so directly.

Promises of Certain Removal

A guarantee that any review will come down misrepresents how moderation works, because only Glassdoor decides.

Full Payment With No Written Terms

Paying the whole fee upfront on a phone call, with no written agreement and no stated refund terms, leaves you with no recourse. A legitimate provider puts the fee, payment schedule and scope on paper first.

Fake Accounts and Incentivized Reviews

Some services post fake positive reviews or file flags from fake accounts. Glassdoor's fraud rules can lead it to delete contributions tied to coercion or incentives, which can leave your profile worse off than before.

Your review links, HR records and internal details stay between us and your team. We'll sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive.

Glassdoor's Process Only, No Shortcuts

Every case runs through Glassdoor's own reporting process or the courts. We use no fake accounts, no incentivized reviews and no pressure on former employees, which keeps your profile and employer account safe.

Respecting Protected Employee Speech

We screen out reviews protected by labor or whistleblower law. Challenging them doesn't work and exposes the employer to risk.

Markets

Countries and Markets We Serve

Glassdoor applies the same guidelines everywhere. What changes from country to country is the legal backup when a review crosses into defamation.

🇺🇸United States

US employers work within the NLRA on the employee side and Section 230 on the platform side. Defamation claims run against the reviewer, usually after a John Doe subpoena.

🇬🇧United Kingdom

The Defamation Act 2013 requires serious harm to reputation. For a business trading for profit, that means showing serious financial loss. The bar is high, so platform guidelines are usually the better first route.

🇨🇦 🇦🇺Canada and Australia

Defamation in Canada is mostly provincial law. Ontario's Protection of Public Participation Act, 2015 lets defendants seek early dismissal of claims over speech on matters of public interest. In Australia, the Defamation Act 2005 bars most corporations with 10 or more employees from suing for defamation, which puts guideline-based removal at the center of Australian cases.

🇦🇪United Arab Emirates

The UAE treats online defamation as a criminal matter. Under Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021, penalties can include prison and fines of AED 250,000 to 500,000. Employers with UAE operations should bring in local counsel before any step beyond a Glassdoor filing.

FAQs

Glassdoor Review Removal FAQs: Expert Answers

Still have a question? Send us your review links and we'll answer it for your case specifically.

Ask on WhatsApp

Can an Employer Pay Glassdoor to Remove a Review?

No. Glassdoor says employers cannot pay to have reviews removed. Reviews only come down when they break its guidelines or are clearly false.

Can You Get a Review Removed From Glassdoor?

Yes, when the review breaks Glassdoor's Community Guidelines or is clearly false. The most common grounds are reviews from people who never worked for you, duplicate posts, confidential information and attacks on named individuals. Honest negative opinions stay up, so we check each review before quoting.

Can You Delete Glassdoor Reviews That Are Just Negative?

No. You can't delete Glassdoor reviews because they're critical. A review has to break a guideline, such as coming from a non-employee, revealing confidential information or targeting an individual.

How Long Does Glassdoor Review Removal Take?

Most qualified cases are resolved within 5 to 7 business days. Large, appealed or legal cases take longer, and Glassdoor's queue sets the final pace.

How Much Does It Cost to Remove a Glassdoor Review?

Our standard rate is $800 per review, with 50% upfront and 50% once removal is confirmed. Complex and bulk cases are quoted in writing.

Will the Reviewer Know We Flagged Their Review?

Flags go to Glassdoor's moderation team, not to the reviewer, and you never contact the author directly. Glassdoor doesn't publish whether it tells authors a flag was filed, so plan as if they might find out.

Can You Remove a Review That Names Our CEO?

Often, yes, if the review makes false factual claims, shares personal details or turns abusive. Fair criticism of senior leadership is allowed and will stay.

Can You Remove Our Company From Glassdoor Entirely?

No. Employer profiles stay up whether or not you claim them. Claiming yours is the better move, because it lets you respond to reviews and flag them properly.

Does Removing a Glassdoor Review Remove It From Indeed?

No. Indeed runs its own company reviews with its own moderation, so each platform needs its own case.

Can We Ask Employees for Positive Reviews?

Yes, if you ask everyone neutrally and offer nothing in return. Glassdoor prohibits incentives, pressure and requests for proof that someone posted.

Is Using a Glassdoor Review Removal Service Legal?

Yes. A legitimate Glassdoor review removal service works through Glassdoor's own reporting process and the law, and Glassdoor makes every final decision.
